Report an Emergency

For any water emergency on Lac Saint-Louis, please contact immediately the Canadian Coast Guard using one of the following methods:

Cellular *16 or 911

VHF channel 16 (156.8 MHz)

Please have the following information ready:

• Your name and contact number (mobile)

• Your current location

  • GPS Position and/or civic address

  • Which direction you are looking toward

• Describe the emergency

  • Why you are calling

  • How many people are in distress

  • Type of vessel, color(s)

• The type of assistance needed

  • Rescue boat

  • Fire department

  • Pollution control

The Coast Guard or Emergency Services will be dispatched immediately.
